Summary
Nakula was suddenly painfully aware of Sadewa's hand around his wrist.
He gulped, swallowing around the dryness in his mouth. His tongue darted out to wet his chapped lips, and he saw Sadewa's eyes following it, closely tracking every tiny movement as if he were trying to commit them into memory. The air between them shifted. It became heavier, saturated with something that made goosebumps rise along his arms and sent cold down his spine.
Alpha, Nakula's mind helpfully supplied. Sadewa—his brother, was an alpha. Strong. Dependable. Familiar. Safe. Compatible. Virile.

Xuejun elbows Yucheng on his side. “Qiwen-ge…” he starts, eyes catching Meixiang in between two rapid blinks. Meixiang realises what he's about to do way too late. “Meixiang-ge said he didn’t know you had a deal with this brand.”

Summary
Soobin wasn't sure if this was also an act to trick him to lower his defences. There was a slight pause when Taehyun seemed to be talking himself into actually surrendering and cooperating with Soobin, before his instinct seemingly won and put Soobin in favour, again. His body shifted, moving to take Soobin a fraction deeper into himself in a clear message of acceptance. Mouth fell open. Sighed. Soobin felt all the way Taehyun began to welcome him, warm walls undulating around his knuckles. Potent-smelling slick making him salivate.
A gentle hand brushed against Soobin's wrist. Taehyun busied his dainty yet nimble fingers at the front of his pants, making quick work to open them all the way and give Soobin more room, then said, "You better finish me and take your prize, then."
Soobin couldn't help it–he laughed.

Sometimes, Taehyun straight-up said he wanted to fuck. Sometimes, he wanted to play hard-to-get and duke it all out on the battle arena, first. Soobin had a feeling tonight would be more of the latter.
