Summary
The staff meeting after Cat had broken her foot had involved a lot of reassigning, since she couldn’t exactly do the usual society beat with her foot in a boot. So much that Clark hadn’t really thought twice when Perry had said “and Kent, you’ll take the new Wayne foundation piece,” because sure, he liked working the philanthropy stories occasionally. It wasn’t until they’d gotten back to their desks that Lois had burst into a fit of snickering and said “oh, I would pay money to see how you’re going to handle Bruce Wayne for two weeks,” and Clark had realized how majorly screwed he was.

“Yeah, yeah, I am,” he said, going for sarcasm and missing because of the weird panic that was edging into his laugh. “I’m thinkin’ a June wedding.”
“It’ll lead right into a July funeral, I suspect,” Alastor laughed, slapping his hand on the bar. “No wonder you’re so interested in releasing him from his contract. If Valentino heard there was someone who loved his prized star, why he would be absolutely livid.”
The cackle was unnecessary and Husk said as much, glowering. When that failed to shut him up, he waited until there was a lull and hissed, “Ya done?”
There was a pause, a ‘no,’ and then another chorus of maniacal laughter that sent Pentious, who had come into the parlor for something, slithering away with nothing more than an eep and an apology.

Summary
Dick Grayson comes to live with Bruce Wayne on a Tuesday afternoon when he’s nine years old.
It’s a Tuesday like any other, so Bruce settles the boy in and leaves him in Alfred’s capable hands after dinner and heads out for patrol. Gotham’s underworld does not take a day off, and therefore Batman cannot either.
Dick awakes in the middle of the night and Bruce isn’t there. Alfred calms Dick down and sits with him and assures him that Bruce would have been there if he could and Dick believes him. Alfred's words can only maintain that belief for so long.Or, the one where Bruce doesn't tell Dick that he's Batman at first and things spiral out of control until people start communicating like adults.

Summary
In the early days of Victor's stay in Hasetsu—when Yuuri's skittishness meant he skirted every one of Victor's touches—Victor had called Chris in tears, asking if Chris thought Yuuri even liked him. After Chris laughed at Victor for a solid ten minutes, he texted Victor a flurry of Youtube links, supercuts of Yuuri's interviews with titles like "My Big Gay Crush: The Katsuki Chronicles, Vol.1, Directors Cut", "Katsuki Yuuri Supercut: A Thirst for the Ages", and "Touch-a Touch-a Touch me: Victor Please Love Yuuri!"
(Victor had even left a comment on the last one to congratulate them on developing psychic abilities. They'd reported him as a spam bot.)
Then Victor had repaid the favor by sending Chris an audio file of fake sex noises that he could play whenever Josef called and Chris didn't feel like talking. Of course, Chris had used Victor's own sex noises against him the last time he'd called too late. As though Victor wouldn't recognize his own moans like some amateur.

Summary
So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
