Summary
A series of oneshots set in that oh-so-lovely AU where the Asgardians are not intercepted by Thanos' ship as they flee Ragnarok, so Thor and Loki and Val and Bruce and Heimdall have to, like... actually work on rebuilding a society instead of being thrown into another war with a superpowerful entity bent on mass destruction. No ships (so far) except for some hinted pre-Thorkyrie, which can still be read as platonic if the reader so chooses.
EDIT 4/30/19: Guess this AU actually exists in canon now, huh? Sweet.
EDIT 9/01/20: This series is remaining here as written, but many scenes from it are also now being reworked into a series of screenplays for a Revengers TV Show. Check it out if you want more Revengers content!

Kaveh goes missing on an expedition to the desert, leading to a tense reunion amongst the desert gang. It’s a headache fueled by conflicting motivations. Aside from finding the missing party, Cyno wants order, Candace wants them gone, Dehya wants everyone to get along–

Summary
Dehya has always taken pride in being a great friend. It’s a huge compliment, considering how important her friends are to her and how seriously she takes the responsibilities that come with her unwavering loyalty.
One of those duties is letting her friends know when they are being completely, absolutely, mind-numbingly stupid. Even if the friends acting like utter morons happen to be Alhaitham and Cyno, of all people. By the Scarlet King, they couldn’t be more obvious about their affection for each other or more oblivious to each other’s feelings if they tried.
Dehya has watched their hopeless mutual pining for far too long already - it’s about damn time she takes matters into her own hands (with Candace’s trustworthy help). Who knows, it might just turn out that she was born to be the Queen of Matchmaking.

Summary
It’s a mystery even to himself how he remembers the expression Cyno always made when they battled eight years ago, but chalks it off to the many recordings of the Champion he has seen along the years. Cyno is, technically, a celebrity; it’s impossible not to see his face plastered everywhere whenever Alhaitham is in town.
In a way, Cyno’s fame was the one reason why he hadn’t forgotten his childhood rival’s face, even though they had still been kids the last time they saw each other.
Eight years ago, Alhaitham and Cyno had been neighbors and rivals, but that no longer has anything to do with Alhaitham. It was supposed to stay that way, until the Sages decide to return and Alhaitham is called in to assist the Sumeru Champion in investigating the matter.

Venturing into the desert after runaway thesis students is, unfortunately, a normal part of Cyno's job. The same can't be said of Alhaitham, feeble scholar extraordinare, and yet he's here anyway. It's an addition Cyno doesn't need, no matter how helpful Alhaitham can be, but though the company's better than expected, the complications only get worse from there.

Alhaitham somehow adopts a crown and a curse: whoever is the first to make the Sumerian Prince laugh wins his heart.
Cyno simply wants to protect his queen through her doomed matchmaking ceremony with Sumeru’s Prince. He has no intention of winning any hearts, but he ends up losing his own.
