What a contrast. Both of them are pretty calm, it's just that whenever Pim saw Charlie, it was always him wearing this intense look on his face. It sort of unnerved him, and he wants to make his first—first actual impression—a good one. That maybe, if he manages to reach into the hearts of his people, he can reach into Charlie's too.

Pim Pimling, a previously exciteable and positive prince, is reincarnated and given a second chance at life after going through a traumatizing experience in which he is murdered by a rival---a knight named Charlie. After yet another accidental run-in with the guy, they must stick together and navigate their feelings while living in a divided world.
(OR: an alternate fantasy AU where charlie must learn to better himself as a person and pim having to work through his trauma and recover.)

That was the first time Zoey ever heard that sentence, as well as the last before she stepped away from Charlie's porch without saying anything and went to her car. If she wanted to, she could've turned around and change her mind.

Summary
His mind would trace back to Zoey---as dysfunctional as a couple they were, he genuinely loved her, how he could occasionally talk about how much he loved her after sex or while they were playing video games together. Alone, Charlie felt isolated. But with Zoey, she was the light Charlie had missed, yearned for again once she left. And by that point, he didn't think he would ever find one like her again.
Though, Pim was right there the entire time.
And Charlie felt that light coming back again.
But he didn't want it to leave.

Summary
His eye, the eye that had been stabbed, is where the blood pools from. It's way too much. There's a lot of it. It'll rot, like his body currently is. He is finally alone for the last time, and the blood slowly pours his life away.

Summary
All in all, really nothing to worry about on Charlie's end...until Pim came across something---an icon that looked like a yellow folder, labeled "stuff." Pim blinked. What "stuff" did he mean? He figures it could be normal, probably. Maybe these contained other photos he never knew about. He makes himself comfortable---he sits on the ground, and opens it. Not knowing the folder might change how he'll forever see Charlie.

One ordinary movie night, Pim finds out something about Charlie that might change his view on him forever.

Summary
Right now, it's them laying in bed, and they have plenty of time, too---today was one of their day offs. They could laze about in the bedroom all day and sleep for hours, but after this, Pim knows that they won't get a break for the next few weeks, so he wants to make the most of it. He's the first to sit up, and nudges Charlie. The touch is able to wake up the yellow in no time, one eye fluttering open. This is definitely one of his lighter sleeps.

Pim can be quite annoying sometimes, especially in the morning. Charlie knows just how to take care of that, though.

First off, Pim is thoroughly puzzled. What was she even here for? She didn't even specify---and she came to his apartment without shooting him a text or anything, or at least just a call would've been nice. He wouldn't have thought that this one night, his older sister, the sister that mind you, hasn't talked to him in years, and is now just coming back. Not to see him, but rather for something else.

"I-I don't think I have to..." Pim takes a sip of his drink before sitting it down. With the obvious tension between them, the last thing on his mind was getting hydrated right at this second.___
Ever since Pim showed Charlie his secret while on a hiking trip, it changed his brain chemistry completely. This manifests into something new just three weeks later.

"What? That's not healthy at all---" Wait. They were going off topic. "Anyway, I accidentally overslept because of that, and I was on a realllyy tight schedule, so I quickly headed over to the shops, and I thought, 'Maybe I can get him that new video game that just came out.' But when I went to the video game aisle, they were completely sold out! So, like any other normal person would, I started panicking. But then I thought of something else you'd like---I can't spoil, because surprises are surprises." He handed over the gift, "But...here you go! Happy birthday! Or---I already said that. Haha..."
"Wow. That's..." Charlie scratched the back of his head at Pim's semi-long ramble, he didn't know what to say to someone who put in so much effort to get him something, even when being late on top of that.

Charlie, just seven years ago, didn't think he would ever live past age 19-20. Now it's his 28th birthday, and when he and Pim finish helping a client, he starts to think about his own past.
