It's hard to think straight, hard to pretend to be concerned with something as terrible as being away from each other when being so close; every shared exhale kicking up a tantalizing undercurrent of mouth-wateringly familiar scent.
"We can do that," He shrugs, shoulders lifting slightly in the peripherals of her vision; out of focus and secondary to the closeness of everything else. "We're, like, really good at being overly closed off anyways."

"Fine," she grumbles after a moment, leaning her weight a bit more firmly against Bellamy and rubbing their noses together in a not-so-sullen admission of defeat, hand releasing its tight perch on her knees to instead grumpily fist the well-worn collar of his dark sweatshirt, "I'll move in with you."

Finally, Abby gets around to bustling Clarke out the door, and Clarke ends up accidently making awkward eye contact with Octavia’s brother. The amused look falls off his face instantly, like she’s socked him in the gut. Then she’s being pulled down the hall, wondering why on earth Bellamy Blake is looking at her like she’d just pulled the world out from under his feet.
