"I was being tactical, asshole." Kacchan bit back, crossing his arms tightly across his torso. He nodded towards Izuku. "Watching Spidey's back."or
Waiting to get lunch with his unofficial superhero partner, Izuku didn't expect to be teleported into another reality with his kind-of-sort-of-not-really-boyfriend. Especially to a reality where they were kind-of-sort-of-rivals-but-also-friends-but-definitely-not-boyfriends. Having to save their realities might just be what brings them both together (finally).

“Last chance for song requests,” he whispers, the words leaving his mouth with a shudder. The look in her eyes sears him to the very core of his being, strips away all of his superficial, exterior defenses, leaving only his soul, the truest, purest essence of who he is, laid bare for all to see.
“My song,” Maka says with finality, the twin green flames of her eyes brilliant and unwavering. Soul inhales, and lets muscle memory take over; a roll of his shoulders, a flourish of his hands, the rush of his fingertips as he presses them to the keys - callused flesh meeting refined, polished ivory.
And then, he starts to play.
