Summary
This is a completion of some of my OC lore. The two main overarching plots are about a god and his followers, and a lab and it's victims. These two plots intersect and affect one another, however they develop seperatly.
This isn't really going to be a solid story, not yet at least. A lot of it is going to be one-shot style as I sorta start to piece together my lore. If you stumble across this, I hope you enjoy it!

Summary
After ten years in prison, Yancy is suddenly taken from the closest thing to a home he had for a top-secret government experiment. For years now, higher-ups had been justifying human experimentation by using inmates in prisons as the subjects.
Though Yancy is a bit more than they bargained for, it seems. As he tries to come to terms with the past, he is forced to act on the quickly approaching future. With Illinois' help, survival seems possible. But is just surviving enough? Or is there more these two can do to not only save themselves, but countless others?

Yancy is a merman who enjoys human creations but has never actually encountered one himself. His all-time favorite human invention is the lock and key, so naturally, when he comes across a skeleton key that seems to be able to open any and all locks, it quickly becomes his prized possession.
Illinois is an adventurer, who is trying to find the skeleton key for his current quest, only to find a certain merman has already gotten to it.

Summary
After Stanley successfully escapes the parable with the Narrator, he finds himself alone in the real world without his only friend. Half a decade passes and Stanley is now a lead editor and writer for a book focused news outlet when his workmate and friend, Tom, recommends him a book that leads him to reminisce of his time in the parable. Stanley, now with a new favorite book, gets the opportunity to interview its mysterious author, Nigel Salt, through a series of emails which soon leads the two to become pen pals and maybe even friends. Stanley only hopes his relationship with Nigel will fill the hole in his heart from losing the Narrator.
