Yang probably doesn’t think anyone notices the faint limp she walks away from fights trying to conceal. She probably doesn’t think anyone sees the faint seeping red that fades with a shimmer of golden aura quickly enough, nor the remnants of battle dug into the skin of her knuckles and forearm. She’s very quick to hide the pain of a confrontation, sometimes with a boisterous attitude to distract others from her pain, other times by adjusting her combat gear to hide cuts and scrapes and bruises.
Of course, stealth has never exactly been her strong suit.

Ruby’s been happy to spend most of her free time with Penny, and Weiss has been pretty excited about seeing Winter again, so she has a pretty good idea of where each of them would go on their night off.
Blake, however, is on her bed, sitting slightly slouched with her back against the wall, sifting through her new Scroll.

She’s been getting better at realising when the voice in her thoughts is Adam—when she’s unconsciously remembering words that he ingrained into her rather than her own—but that doesn’t always make it easier not to listen. Yang is so kind, so patient, so gentle. Blake can’t ever quite shake the thought that it’s all far more than she deserves.

And what you’re already doing is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but look, you saved our asses back there. You got skills, Blake, it’d be a waste not to use all of them for good.” And then Yang winks. “And because I can tell you like me already, princess.”
There’s a silence. “The Cooler Avengers is a really stupid name,” Blake points out, unconvincingly. It sounds like a last-ditch effort, especially considering the smile pulling at the corner of her lips.
“We’re not set on the name yet,” Yang says, easily, because they’re not, but she is set on Blake.
In which everyone is a superhero, the Young Avengers are the new cool kids, and Yang and Blake cannot stop flirting with each other.
