Summary
Marrying Leon, you had expected the hardship. And the trauma. No one that has that high of a clearance in the government gets out of it un-traumatized. But, with that clearance comes a lot of secrets. And when you combine the secrets with the trauma, in comes alcoholism.
After the birth of your newborn, he sinks into a deeper low. And then you begin to understand that.. maybe the government had ruined one of the best things you had ever had.
Or, Leon is an alcoholic with a lot of trauma that leads to his wife serving him with divorce papers six months after their daughter was born. This is the aftermath.
