When Margaret regards him from her position as his boss (former, technically, for corporate reasons, but functionally the power structure has not changed all that much), and evaluates Andrew's performance accordingly, it’s easier to ascertain his goals. What she would like, both as his boss and his partner, is for him to acknowledge those goals. To own up to what he wants. To own it.
