Summary
Intimacy is a scary and strange word. What is intimacy, anyway? Is it romantic, or sexual? Is it physical, not always, maybe?
It's a word people used often for them. Intimate. Was it because no one understood the other like they did? Was it because no one else ever saw, or wanted or particularly cared to see deeply into their minds or souls?Being intimate with Viktor wasn't scary though, no. It was normalcy. Normalcy was intimacy with them. They didn't know everything about each other, there were still topics they skirted around.
Jayce's dad, Viktor's past, his disability. But that didn't feel like a chasm between them. On the contrary, Jayce felt almost giddy with the knowledge that there was more to Viktor, and that maybe one day he'll get the privilege to see it.-
