Last year at the Jones’s pot-luck I saw her put a slice in a pot to take home and- would you believe it- Annie told me she was trying to test it to find the ingredients! ‘Not on your nelly’ I told her! I had to steal it back before she could find out.”
Kon just sighs like he has heard all of this before, but Tim is fascinated by the old lady beef. Who knew Margeret from bingo would stoop so low.- Or, slice of life TimKon at the Kent farm in Kansas.

A screw up on the field during a mission results in Tim and Kon getting stuck together in a trap. Repressed feelings will bubble up, realizations will happen:

Kon blinked. "What?"
"You're forgiven," Tim repeated, as if confirming a simple fact. "And you were right. About the labs. It was a violation... You were correct to call it out."
"No," Kon whispered, shaking his head. "No, I wasn't right. I was a jerk—"
"It's handled," Tim interrupted, his voice still flat. "I've taken care of it. All of it."
...
"It won't hurt anymore," Tim said, and for a fleeting second, there was something in his eyes. A flicker of profound, unsettling certainty. "It won't hurt anyone. Ever again."
Or
Kon has been dead for 2 years. Tim tried and failed to clone him, and once Kon is resurrected and finds out he is repulsed.
