Summary

Rumors are whispered of sometimes in guild cantinas by boasting mercs that swear that a friend of a friend saw one, helped one, killed one, but they may as well be ghosts.
When a ghost resurfaces and kills the Sith Emperor's apprentice with a relic that may decide the next mand'alor, a hunt begins.

The Jedi Master has been sent back a thousand years to save the Jedi Order, the galaxy, and, possibly, himself.

“My apprentice,” Sidious says, “I have noted that you have been absent from your post lately.”
“Taken ill, I have been, my master,” Yan says smoothly, as though he is not one such person who waltzes around town wielding a great, horned, plastoid bird.
Sidious blinks in a fashion that resembles the very same creature in Yan’s hands. Yan blinks back innocently.
“May we walk?” Sidious asks.
“We may indeed,” Yan says.
(Dooku joined the darkside because he thought it would take him away from a life tied up in red tape and, finding that what was awaiting for him on the other side of the Force was just more goddamn red tape, he moves out to the country to an old cottage and demands that his grandkids come help him set up a pig pen.)

the prose in this fic is really, really gorgeous -- there's a really nice balance of slick and creative phrasing alongside extremely effective simplicity. the pacing and tone is beautiful. i keep a screenshot of the 'what's it like to have siblings?' paragraph on my phone to reread and send to friends every now and then! brady & matthew's relationship (as well as the wider tkachuk family) is very compelling and honest. i really enjoy how the situation is slowly revealed to the reader; it adds a lot to the impact. the actual substance of this story makes me sooooo emotional, the homophobia is portrayed in such a realistic way while also maintaining matthew's own sense of self and how he might realistically react. this is one of my favorite hrpf oneshots, i really couldn't recommend it enough! i've read it thrice since it was posted and i'm sure i'll revisit it again. amazing work!!!!!

Losing Damian not only hurt beyond measure but also made Dick the last Bat standing. He had nothing keeping him in a broken world so goes back in time with only one ally (Damian begs to differ) and no plan except to protect everyone he can, at any cost.
Dick starts with making sure Jason never dies at the hands of the Joker and proceeds to track down and love his siblings (while maybe also plotting the destruction of the League of Assassins). He just doesn't realize that a clan of highly trained vigilantes are more than capable of realizing that Dick is not okay, and of returning his devotion with their own.

i am clutching this fic to my chest and maybe crying a little it is so well written but more than that it is written with such care and compassion. literally like on my knees a dick grayson fic is something that can actually be so personal. receiving back the love that you give to others and sacrificing and being sacrificed to in return. hurtful (affectionate) as well as all of that this fic is filled with such good concepts not even considering the theme theyre written under like THERAPY? DEALING W DICK'S TRAUMA?? DICK TELLING BRUCE TO BE A GOOD DAD AND THEM ACTUALLY CONNECTING ON A REAL EMOTIONAL LEVEL???? screams. also the comparison between the ways of present and futures selves and what changes and hardens and breaks and [muffled sobbing, ect] there is a possibility that i might be slightly sick and delirious. anyways i ADORE THIS FIC AAAAAA
