But for others, they found themselves breaking through that tension with the people on their own teams.

He’ll figure it out, as he watches his dad miraculously bring his Bowser character to meet Dalton’s Yoshi in second place, as they fight for first, both get hit with the blue shell, and then end up placing 5th and 6th. Logan joins in with the chorus of laughter that fills their small and homey living room. Because, even if he’s unemployed with no future, with unread text messages from his best friend, he’ll figure it out. Because he always does.
And he thinks this for hours, that he’ll figure everything out, everything will align and fall into place, but then, after he gets ready for bed, says his goodnights to his family, and then lies in bed, he gets another text message.
From Oscar, of course.

“I’m Oscar, by the way,” he pointed to his chest, and his accent made him sound like he said Oscah, but Logan didn’t question it, but he did giggle at the name.
“Hi, I’m Logan,” the boy smiled.
“I like your accent,” Oscar pointed at Logan, a smile on his face.
Logan tilted his head, “Hm. I don’t have an accent, but I like your accent.” He pointed at Oscar in retaliation.
