Summary
I love the X files. However there are flaws when it comes to treatment of women and girls. They are treated like props many times over. The show passes the Bechtel test but the main character feels like the Bechtel test has failed her.
With this series of conversations and moments, I intend to give some of Scully’s autonomy back to her. Some of her sexuality, of her intelligence and mainly her humanity. I couldn’t help but wander through her life because so much of it was left off the table

Summary
A series of bad luck events, has Scully in a compromising predicament while investigating an X-File in Montana.
This story is wholly and completely dedicated to SKS who has dug me out of more holes than I can count. In some ways I owe them partial writing credits. This one came through to a fun conversation with SKS and I just could *not* let is slide by, but while I intended it to be a 2-3k fun pwp, it turned into 40k pwp with feelings. And as usual the smuttiest of endings. >_<
Enjoy.
PS I'm traveling over the next few days and may not have connectivity for daily updates, but rest assured, this fic is complete, and will be up within a week.

“Must be fate, Mulder.”
It’s meant to be a joke, but it doesn’t sound like one. She presses the bottle into his hand then looks straight ahead, betrayed by the flush she can feel crawling over her face.

She’s small and auburn-haired, and at the moment she looks as though she’d stomp on your face if you looked at her the wrong way, so I try not to look at her. It’s hard, though, because she’s gorgeous. So is he, actually. It’s almost absurd. They could be a TV crime-solving duo, if they were any good at solving crimes, but so far I see no evidence of that.
