Summary
The Sun and Moon Dew Flower is ready - but the timing is off. Binghe is still in the abyss, and will be for another two years. Shen Qingqiu had wanted to see him one last time before he died, even if Binghe was no longer his little white lotus disciple anymore.
But the body will rot long before Binghe gets out. So Shen Qingqiu must shut away that sentiment and move forward with the plan. He has the suicide note written, and letters to everyone - including a heartfelt apology to Binghe. Shen Qingqiu has the poison that will painlessly stop his heart.
But a death on Qing Jing peak would be suspicious - perhaps it would look faked to Luo Binghe, once he got out of the abyss. It would be better to have Shen Qingqiu’s death occur somewhere more public, so that his body would be witnessed by strangers wherever he died and as it was brought back to Cang Qiong.
Jin Lan City seems like a good opportunity.
