Remus Lupin didn’t mean to explode. Really he didn’t, it just sort of happens and he can’t control it. He never meant to hit the police officer that hard and he clearly wasn’t aiming for the side mirror when he tried to kick the police officer's knee. It didn’t matter though because it apparently had been his fathers last straw. St. Lucy’s institute was supposedly rumored to work wonders on troubled kids like Remus and deep, deep, down he hoped it would work.
