“So?” Remus raised his eyebrows questioningly, his stance suddenly softening when his eyes flew to the kitten. “Who do we have here?” He gently picked the kitten up, the little traitor nuzzling right up to him, just like it did to Sirius before.
Sirius frowned, clearing his throat. “It’s a kitten. I found her in the trash.”
Remus looked at him, unimpressed.Sirius finds a stray kitten left on the side of the road and decides to take it to the local animal shelter. Hot shelter worker Remus and the cute kitten make it difficult for him to walk away.

“Um… where do you keep your coffee?” He asks conversationally, not even bothering to explain his presence in Remus’ flat. He closes the cabinet and huffs out. “Do you even own coffee?”
Remus blinks in confusion. There’s this person standing in the middle of his kitchen, asking for coffee and wearing his robe and the way his face… his face is just about the most beautiful thing Remus has ever seen and before he loses himself in it, he is stirred from the haze by an annoyed whine coming from the intruder.
