The Miya twins are the best agents Inarizaki has ever had.
Unfortunately for them, Kita disagrees.
Osamu and Atsumu have fucked up one too many times, and in an attempt to tame the Miya Chaos, Kita assigns them to different partners.
Osamu has spent his entire life fighting with Atsumu, but somehow Suna Rintarou is worse. Suna is scathing and sarcastic, and Osamu can hardly stand to be in the same room, much less work with him. Osamu thinks Kita's plan will backfire, because there's no possible way he can get along with Suna.
It's more likely that Osamu will kill him before the job is over.

It didn’t lead to any of the cute girls or guys in school— It didn’t even lead into the heart of Okinawa at all. Instead, it led him to one of the piers, then farther out across the ocean. So Reki had cried. He was just some nobody kid. How would he ever get to meet his soulmate all the way out there?
Langa had woken up the day of his thirteenth birthday confused by the red string on his finger. Only he could seem to see it as it trailed down the stairs and out his front door. It never tugged on him and seemed to lengthen as needed to adapt to where he needed to go.
Soulmate Red String of Fate AU where meeting your soulmate doesn't always mean a happy ever after. That's something Langa and Reki have to work for.

I drag my eyes up from the half-empty mug. I nod. I smile, possibly—it’s hard to tell. Loki used to whisper to me in times like this when I couldn’t think of the right thing to do or say. I can still hear the faint echo of him in the back of my head, coaching me through a ten-million-yen grin and charming little anecdotes. I was so good at keeping my mask on back then. Eventually, imitation became reality, and my charm preceded me wherever I went. I remember a time where I could look at someone like Sakura Sojiro and convince them everything was perfect while I died on the inside. Loki’s laughter and ovation matched the beat of my heart in those moments.
Now, the applause has stopped. My heart’s next on the list.
