Where do robots go after they die? Is it just an endless void, like the fate given to most other unfortunate souls, or something else?
A strange fate has befallen the supposed successor of V1. After her death, what comes is not nothingness, nor is it some other Hell.
V2 is rebirthed—in some place she finds uncannily similar to Earth.
And maybe, just maybe, she could attempt to do something new.
OR;
V2 is taken to Mirage’s world after death, let’s see how two girls who don’t know how to communicate sort themselves out.

“Medkit ran from his past, from his mistakes, from his sorrows, from his love, and most importantly, from himself.
And for some reason, he thought that this would change when he finally pulled the trigger. That his weak legs would collapse under the stress and his constant running would finally sputter to a stop. That he'd finally be able to take a full breath of air that he hadn't been able to take in years. That, at the end of it all, Medkit would be able to look back at the enemy chasing him, and finally know peace as he meets its eyes. He had assumed that death was the only thing he wouldn't run from.
Medkit slowly lowered the revolver from his head and he let himself stare at the now smoking gun, his hand fuzzy from the harsh recoil.
Even with no bullets, he couldn't help but notice himself hesitate.
Medkit let out a humorless laugh amidst the dancing specks of gunpowder.”
No bullets. One revolver. Six shots. This is how a night that would make Medkits life far more complicated than it ever needed to be started off.

Since that's not an option, his plan is to stay in Denver for a bit and make sure any mercenaries still out to get him are going to be taken care of before Rose and John return from New Zealand.
But then Kevin calls him about a match at Maverick during a post-mission check on hospitalisation records. And the report is detailed. Adult male in his thirties with extensive injuries indicating a bladed weapon, and a stab wound going clean through the abdomen. Had to be cut out of a weapons-grade suit of armour. Cyborg arm. Brown hair, scarred face. Brazilian.

After suddenly waking up in the middle of the night, the first thing Slingshot noticed was how quiet it was. While normally, it would be quiet since everyone was supposed to be asleep, his roommate, Shuriken, was a bit of a loud snorer.
That was the understatement of the year. Shuriken snored hecka loud. He always had to sleep after Sling and Vinestaff, otherwise, neither of them would be able to sleep at all.
Slingshot slid out of bed and tiptoed before Shuriken's room, easing the door open.
No one was there.
Absolutely no one.
He checked the rest of the apartment, unease curling tighter with every empty room. Surely Shuriken didn’t decide to leave in the middle of the night, right?
