(Three years ago, Minho broke Jisung's heart with a single phone call. It's ironic then, that the universe decides to return the favour.)

Summary
“Oh God,” Jeongin groans as Hyunjin scrolls sideways and more pictures come up: Jeongin asleep on the couch, ice cream stained around his mouth, Jeongin and Hyunjin at the arcade, so many childhood memories of the two of them, Jeongin with braces, Hyunjin unchangingly, annoyingly attractive and smiley the whole time. “Hyunjin, this is so embarrassing.”
“What’s embarrassing about it?” Hyunjin demands as he turns his phone to Changbin. Jeongin wants to bury his face into his hands and is only just stopped by the full glass he’s still holding.
Please don’t show your hot muscley boyfriend my pre-teen acne, he wants to wail, but that would only be more humiliating. The humiliating cherry on top of this whole night.
or: Jeongin has dinner with his old babysitter and his babysitter's hot boyfriend. He's being so normal about it.

Summary
Jeongin had never been this stressed before. It wasn’t the familiar nerves before an exam or an interview, this felt heavier, stickier, like something was tightening around him from the inside and refusing to let go. And yet he kept telling himself he couldn’t have been wrong. Right? Not after all this. Every sign under the sun had pointed to the same conclusion: when it came to Seungmin, he had been absolutely correct.
Or: Seungmin is gifted a collar.

Summary
A business arrangement. That's what they'd agreed to call it.
As a doctor, Minho knew that ignoring Chan's diagnosis was a surefire way to complicate his disease, to play with his life.
So, when Chan had brought up proposing to his partner for their insurance, and when he’d come back with a clear ‘no’, Minho couldn’t just let him walk out of the hospital without a plan.
That’s how they’d ended up at the courthouse with a witness and no rings, just a signature and a handshake to seal the deal.
A business arrangement. That's all it is.
or: minho and chan get married, but only for practical reasons. at least, that's what minho tells himself.

Summary
Seungmin wishes for a taste of that freedom. Of uncertainty, maybe. His whole life is planned out for him, down to what to he eats and what diplomas he’ll earn and what surgery he’ll stand in until he retires. It’s a privilege and a weight he can’t shake. Stifling. Though Seungmin tries not to complain too much, not about school or his life, not when it’s evident he has more than Jisung. Jisung who despite being exhausted some days always smiles for him, Jisung who mistakes Seungmin for someone interesting, Jisung who tells Seungmin about the things that remind him of him during the weeks they’re apart. He makes Seungmin feel like- more. Jisung is reminded of Seungmin in songs and dogs on the street and food in roadside restaurants. Jisung takes Seungmin’s shapeless cloud form and finds something worth looking at, something worth being captured.
Or; Seungmin works part-time in the camera shop Jisung and Minho have their photos developed. Other things develop too.

There's a smile on Chris's face as she plucks at the edge of the blanket, tucked up under Jisu's arms. "Feel like I'm putting down kid number three," she teases. "You want a story too, honey?"

Summary
Seungmin retorts, “You seem close with your advisor.”
“I am,” the king admits, his gaze boring into Seungmin’s. The king can openly admit to such a thing, almost boasting. And if Seungmin did the same he’d be dragged out and thrown to the dogs. But at least he can assume that the king won’t try to touch him beyond tonight. “You know to be discreet, of course,” he says off-handedly.
Seungmin whips his neck over to the king, incredulous, hardly daring to believe his ears. “I—I beg your pardon?” he grits out.
Or: Seungmin and Minho are unhappily married, and very happily in love with other people. They come to an agreement.

Summary
Four case-control studies that are about control, in four different ways.
Each story stands alone and can be read independently of the others, but they are interwoven and personally I think (hope!) some of the fun is the multiple POV on certain moments that comes from reading them all.
The timeline follows a span of events that overlap, but from 'earliest' to 'latest' the Cases follow posting order, ie 35 first and 143 last, and if you don't have a preference then that's the order I would recommend reading them in.

Summary
“Didn’t think you’d be so shy for me.”
He didn’t think that? So, he has thought about Seungmin like this before? And he thought what? That Seungmin would be seductive or wanton or something like that? He thought Jisung knew him. He thought he knew Jisung and that they were both nerds working in corporate who couldn’t get dates. He knows Jisung wears a pocket protector for fuck’s sake. How is this guy so smooth?

Summary
“You’re so possessive you might as well just be a wolf,” Chan taunted, his curly hair falling around his face as he stared down at Minho. He smiled, teeth gleaming dangerously, and Minho wanted to scream at the very thought of them being anywhere near him.
“I’d rather die than be like you,” Minho sneered, his heart pounding in his chest.
“Big surprise,” Chan said in faux shock. “Is the big mighty witch afraid of a bit of teeth?”
Or, Minho finds himself accidentally mated to Chan, the werewolf whose hatred for Minho is rivaled only by Minho’s hatred for him. The worst part of it all? It’s all Minho’s fault.

Summary
“You fuck him yet?”
“What?” Chan wheezes. When he checks, Jisung looks dead serious, if still gazing dreamily in MINHO’s vague direction. “No!”
“But you want to,” Jisung reasons. Drums his tented fingers together like the evil engineer he is.
“Don’t say that here!” Chan hisses fiercely. “I’m, like, seven thousand percent sure he has sonic hearing!”
“Oh, he does,” Jisung mutters. When his eyes lock with Chan’s and discover the deadpan there, he frowns. “What?”
—
Chan makes an impulse purchase in the form of lifelike android MINHO.

Summary
“What’s… happening,” mumbles Hyunjin. “Why’s there food for, like. Ten?”
“It’s for them.” Felix nods at Jisung and Minho, seated at the little table beside their stash of takeout.
Hyunjin is silent. Then, “Oh Christ, another one of their stupid contests.”
—
Best friends Jisung and Minho have always had a knack for turning everything into a competition—who can shower faster, who can eat more, who can sooner find a meaningless hookup at a party. It’s when they overstep (or, in Jisung’s case, trip over) the boundary between being friends and more that Jisung finds he cares far less about losing their little games than he does about losing Minho.

Summary
Minho scoffs. “Why are you being so gross tonight?”
Hyunjin slides his card across the bar, hums in thought. “I don’t know,” he answers honestly, though Minho’s question had been rhetorical. He just likes to hear himself gab. “Maybe it’s the fact that three nights ago in Chicago Han Jisung held your hand during Alien and you would’ve never known that tonight we’d catch him alone, clearly on the pull, in some back-alley hipster-shit bar.” He plucks the toothpick from his drink, pops an olive into his mouth, and states through his munching, “Basically, I’m on fire.”

Minho and Hyunjin are 3RACHA groupies.

Summary
“How long are you sticking around?”
“At least a month.”
Jeongin’s brows creep up toward his hairline. “Right,” he says eventually. “Um.” He massages at his closed eyelids, like Hyunjin is giving him a migraine. “You still know your way around, right? Like, do you need a tour of where the bathroom is? Laundry? Linen closet?”
Hyunjin’s lip curls, halfway to a snarl. “I think I’ll manage.”
—
Signed to a modeling agency at seventeen and working a nonstop five years since, all Hyunjin wants to do now is go home. But this summer, only his best friend’s brother is in town.

Hyunjin scoffs inelegantly. “You’re making the face.”
“Which one?”
“With the—the eyes, and. Just, stop it,” Hyunjin huffs, moving closer so he can discreetly slap Minho’s arm. “He’s too young for you.”
“Looks older than that friend you tried to set me up with last month.”
“You know your loyal army of aunties would start hemorrhaging if you hooked up with a messy little rockstar.”
Rock band frontman Jisung Han and esteemed actor Minho Lee meet at a party.

Summary
Lee Minho, professional boxer, undisputed champion, multi-title holder—something incredibly rare for an omega, so much so that he had been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2018 after his career had officially died three years prior. Teen dad, divorcée. All of that turned injured, single parent office worker with graying hair and fine smile lines. Forty five, an unmated omega, and, now, officially postmenopausal, dealing with the effects of all of that.
or Minho, a local gym's boxing instructor and a single 45 year old omega, has accepted he just doesn't work like he used to. And that's fine. That's perfectly fine. One of his boxing students, a 25 year old virile alpha Yang Jeongin, chases him around despite that.

Summary
Hyunjin tapped his ash onto the patio and tilted his head as he squinted. “Do I know you?”
“Not yet,” Chan said, and this time his smile dropped on one side into a smirk.
“Are you hitting on me?”
Chan let out a huge laugh, the type that made his eyes crinkle in on themselves and almost split his face in two with how wide his grin was, and he threw his head back so that the chains around his neck moved and rippled across his throat. Hyunjin squinted even harder.
“Not yet,” he repeated.
OR: Hyunjin is an artist fuelled by self-hatred who can't pick up on social cues, and Chan is obsessed with his voice.

“You feel so good,” Jisung blurted, desperate to get the words out now that he could, even if they fell in a jumble against Felix’s mouth. “I could’ve… could’ve cum on that dancefloor, wanted to, don’t care, I just…”
“M’never giving you molly again,” Felix rasped around a smirk, shoving his knee into Jisung’s thigh to force him open. “Half a pill and you’re a fucking menace.”
OR: Felix takes Jisung to a rave

Summary
Seungmin doesn’t get it.
Chan is so wild in every way— messy, desperate, doesn’t respect boundaries most of the time. The husky hybrid is nearly unmanageable: invading personal spaces, slobbering all over Jeongin and Seungmin whenever he can, so excitable he starts humping whenever he gets too worked up.
He’s giving good hybrids like Seungmin a bad name.
