Summary
After being arrested in the southern-most town of Rhodes, Arthur Morgan finds himself on a cart headed to Saint Denis to be hung for his several crimes against the ruly people of Lemoyne. This hardened criminal finds himself becoming fond of a young girl, whose being wrongfully tried. He slowly learns that this young girl, just looking at her, is like looking in a mirror. With the loss of his son at such a young age, he finds himself with an ache in his soul that August has nestled herself in.
He soon learns, this is who he has. She's his people. And he'll ride to the ends of the earth for her.
