Grian moves back to England from Japan at 16, halfway through what will be his first year of college, majoring in music. He gets a job at a local cat cafe, moves in with his old friends, and is just trying to stay on his feet.
Scar, on the other hand, barely has feet to stand on. Living with his childhood friend Cub, he’s just about getting by. He can’t keep a job, keep up with his architecture coursework, or keep up with his own illness, but he still just floats through life.
And now there was a cute guy working at his favourite cafe.

Living in the desert was...nice. At least Grian thought so. Him, his sister Gem, and their cats all lived together in the tower upon Monopoly Mountain, under the Watcher's orders and voices, for their enjoyment.With the loveable mess that was Scar. He was there too. Because of a little prank that left Grian forever in his debt and involved in his chaos. Okay, MAYBE Grian didn't totally hate Scar.
