10/10 amazing incredible Melshian fic, I love this so much especially the way Cassian’s trauma and devotion to the rebellion is portrayed. My boy has given everything to the rebellion for almost nothing in return and at the end of this fic (and hopefully in the future) he finally gets the comfort he deserves, and a break from the constant trauma he is going through 😭😭😭. Words cannot describe how much I love this fic istg

10/10, in my eyes the OG Obi-Wan torture whump fic. Great Hurt/Comfort and I really love the characterisation of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon’s relationship. Doesn’t have details of recovery from the torture, but makes up for it with half the fic being Qui-Gon comforting Obi-Wan. Some of the best descriptions of torture I have ever read, particularly the imagery and how the focus is on how the torture makes Obi-Wan feel. Literally amazing and 100% worth rereading with frequency.
