Perhaps pregnancy was making her too forthright about her physical demands. They had to be a funny sight to see her boss her large husband around like he was the demure party and Penelope the rake who had seduced him. It was a mutual seduction, and she was quite proud of both of them.
“I will tell them, Ma’am,” Rae said. “Are you well? Is Sir well?”
