Dan had always run hot. Since he was a little boy he’d been scolded for always running in guns blazing, setting everything in his path alight. His mother talked about him like a fire she was desperate to put out before it burnt down her whole life. He left his bold and brazen personality in the ashes of his childhood.

Summary
After the explosion that causes all the TVA members to reset back to their orginal timelines, Loki convinces Don to leave his family and help find He Who Remains so they can restore the TVA and the Timeloom. The boys travel to 1880 London and struggle to find a Kang Varient amidst a massive storm that floods the town. Don trusts Loki inherently, but struggles to come to terms with abandoning his family and life to help the near stranger.
