Summary
It is said that for centuries, two men stood vigil over the happenings of the cultivation world.

Others say they are married, and they lived as soulmates through the rise and fall of empires. The stories have been told for so long, their real names have been forgotten... They’re the stuff of legend now, known only by their ancient titles, Hanguang-jun and the Yiling Patriarch.
Most people don’t even believe they exist: there’s been rumored sightings all over the continents and the centuries – wherever chaos was, they appeared – but their description was always different, like a fleeting, fickle mirage. Some people believe in them, and even revere them; some fear them.
Some despise them: if there’s one thing governments hate, it’s a powerful entity they can’t rule over and control – and if these two actually exist, that’s exactly what they are.
Powerful. Uncontrollable. Untamed.

Summary
