Wade's laughing at something a pretty girl with long black hair and a tight dress is saying. His hand is curved around her hip, and her face is tucked against his ear. She’s whispering something that’s probably clever, funny, and sexy and is going to literally charm those tight pants right off him. Peter takes another burning sip of his drink, something strong that Wade had gotten him, and it’s gross, but it also burns in a way he needs because it dulls the twist in his stomach when he sees Wade with people who are actually capable of making a move on him.
The girl is pressing a kiss against Wade’s cheek now, and he’s saying something that’s making her laugh. Peter takes another long drink. Of course, she’s laughing. Wade is immensely funny, not that Peter would ever tell him that. He’s also immensely arrogant and thinks he’s hot shit because he is and Peter wants him so, so bad. Too bad he’s not a hot girl, or a hot guy, just Wade’s weird nerdy college roommate whose been crushing on him for three years.

Summary
Recently, Peter has been genuinely considering telling Wade who he is out of the suit. The thought doesn’t scare him as much as he thought it would. When his aunt May passed away a few years ago, Deadpool was there for him through it all. He took Peter’s patrols when he was too depressed to, gave Peter space when he needed it, invaded it when necessary, and let Peter crash at his for a few months. Those few months were enough to make Peter realize that he trusted Deadpool wholeheartedly.
There is something holding Peter back, though.
It’s that Peter’s current life is just kind of pathetic, and Peter doesn’t want Deadpool seeing him that way. Deadpool likes to theorize about what Peter does for work, since he’s “So smart for a smartass”. Oftentimes, what he guesses are way above what Peter could possibly achieve at the moment. He also thinks that Peter lives in a nice apartment somewhere uptown. Something with lots of sunlight and expensive furniture. All of these scenarios were wrong, of course. They couldn’t be further from the truth if they tried. So, he'll hold off on telling Deadpool who he is until Peter gets his life together.
That is until Deadpool crashed into Peter Parker's life unexpectedly.

There’s a man sitting in the corner of the room, half cast in shadow. Peter’s vision was still mottled, but he can make out gray pants similar to his own. His roomie was wearing a white shirt, the sleeves twisted strangely, decorated with buttons and straps. It took several more blinks to realize that’s because it was a straitjacket.
That is never a good sign.
Peter jumped to his feet, almost threw up, and plastered himself to the wall, slowly easing down into a crouch. But the man only cocked his head to the side, hairless eyebrows quirking. When Peter inhaled, the stench of pain made his nose sting and his eyes water, overwhelming in its magnitude. The man’s eyes are hard and angry when they meet Peters’.
“And who are you supposed to be? They actually giving me roommates again? Nice try, Francie!” this the man yelled at the door, “but I’m not buying it! Give im’ to someone else.”
