Summary
Living in the sewers is a rather monotonous way of life. Barring Casey, the only tie these turtle teenagers have to the surface is their supply runs. Even then, they're supposed to do their best to minimize the contact they have with humans (barring pizza acquisition). They wouldn't have been surprised if this semi isolation was how they always have to live... however, a twist of fate demands their attention.
More people like the turtles start propping up across New York. Mutants. However, these new mutants often end up going missing from the public eye just as quickly as they are seen. It seems like nobody knows why this is happening, as the average human is inclined to simply write their existence off as a hoax.
No help is coming for these missing mutants. With that comes the question of involvement. Can it be said that the turtles have a duty to protect these new mutants? Additionally, is there more to this than meets the eye? The turtles aren't sure... but assuming they don't want to be left out of the loop they must decide quickly.
