Summary

"It's… unimaginative. They can describe a scene, certainly, but the writing feels devoid of any feeling other than disproportionate wide-eyed wonder. In fact, their only inspiration seems to be rain, the streets of London, and rain on the streets of London. Not to mention that their writing style is so enamoured with Keats that it lacks any distinction of its own. What do you think of it?"
Jon does not seem to have given the man the intellectual stimulation that he's looking for.
"Oh…" His eyebrows are nearing his hairline. His front teeth overlap, Jon notes when he offers a nervous smile. That's quite cute. "Um, I- I wrote it?"

Bodies, mangled thin-skinned bodies scratching at the windows. Their mouths were wide open and teeth covered in black. Jon wanted to know where they came from, he needed to ask. But before he could do anything, Tim was tugging him by the arm to Artefact Storage of all things. It was underground, sure, but no way they could stay!

The thing is, Jon knew that by taking the promotion he would change things, of course he did. As much as he didn’t want the job, and despite Elias being well aware of Sasha being more qualified and a better fit, the man wouldn’t budge. Jon had had no choice but to accept the job, or at least that’s what he told himself. Despite all this though, despite the changes that he knew would occur, he never expected it to get this bad. The betrayed looks from Sasha, the resentment from Tim, and worst of all; the disappointment in himself.

You: “Oh no, no, I’m not going to hurt you,” you say, clumsily holding out a broad hair-lined hand. The pigeon flinches, then, as you hold your hand as still as you can and make no move to harm her, regards you with a mix between fear and curiosity.
LOGIC: She’ll die without you, Harry. Maybe she’ll die with you too. Is this a responsibility you can bear?Harry and Kim spend the evening tending to an injured pigeon. They get talking. Things begin to spiral in unexpected directions.
