Summary
In a deviation from expectations, Clark and Bruce meet for the first time not as Superman and Batman, and not as reporter and billionaire business owner, but as some version of themselves somewhere in the middle of all their respective identities.
Clark nods, pushes his glasses back into place, smiles. It's sweet. It's comfortable. Bruce feels a sense of peace — there's no need to rush this. He steals one last kiss, then walks back to his car.
He remembers to text Clark later, when he's back at the manor and before patrol, letting him know he made it home safe and wishing him a good night.
He sees Clark again, unplanned, unexpected, Saturday night.

Zuko has been traveling with the Avatar gaang for three weeks, five days, and, if he’s honest, far too many emotionally compromising group bonding moments.
Not used to sharing campfires without suspicion. Not used to laughter that isn’t sharp-edged or cruel. Not used to people standing close to him without flinching. And he is definitely not used to being grabbed.
Unfortunately, Sokka has decided Zuko’s survival depends on fixing that. With firebending off the table, Sokka, self-proclaimed “tactical genius,” has taken it upon himself to teach him non-bending close-quarters combat.
Specifically: grappling.
Specifically: using Zuko as a demonstration dummy.
Zuko hates it...He absolutely hates it.
There is nothing dignified about being shoved, pinned, or manhandled mid-argument, and nothing strategic about the way Sokka keeps finding his wrists, shoulders, waist…
This is a problem...A serious problem...And Zuko is handling it very normally.

Tadano, awkwardly charming in a vampire outfit, meets her there, and with Najimi’s meddling, the two end up in a slow dance. For Komi, it’s a small victory — she manages to communicate without her notebook, laughing softly for the first time that night.
After the party, she and Tadano walk home together through quiet streets. They share an easy silence, teasing each other gently until Najimi jumps out to scare them. Komi surprises everyone by fighting back — and even jokes a little. Before they part ways, she shows Tadano a message on her phone: “Next year, let’s match costumes.”
