Mikasa is haunted by all she is, and more so by who she isn’t, perpetually unsatisfied with everything in her life right now, especially her love life, or lack thereof, the harrowing feeling of being unlovable chasing her, exactly as your twenties dictate. Then one night, the moon is shining just right on Eren’s eyes, and exactly the wrong thing slips past his lips, then her lips are on his, and everything goes to shit.
