Summary
Hermione and Pansy’s eighth year at Hogwarts is coming to an uninspiring and rather dull end. After almost nine months of monotonous classes, stressful exams, and all of the other wonders of almost-adulthood, both are ready to get the fuck out of Hogwarts and not look back. The only consolation lies just beyond graduation-- Pansy has accepted a dream job offer, and the paperwork for Hermione’s London apartment has, at last, been finalized.
But, of course, it can’t last. When two idiots in their Charms class get into a fight, Pansy and Hermione are at the wrong place during the wrong time, and because of it they’re plunged into a chaotic and seemingly never-ending situation that threatens to derail their lives as they know it.

“You still haven’t given me a reason why I can’t wear the uniform this way,” Pansy’s fingers traced the edge of her bra as she spoke like the soft lace was incredibly interesting. She was trying to get a rise out of Hermione, and it worked.
“I don’t need a reason, they’re the rules. I’d be happy to get you a copy of the dress code if you claim to be unfamiliar with it,” Hermione began to turn away, maybe if she couldn’t convince her to change she would need to get a professor.
“So you just follow every rule without questioning it?” Pansy’s taunt stopped her in her tracks. Hermione turned and looked at Pansy’s mischievous expression.
“I don’t, but certain rules like this one are in place to maintain a positive learning environment. As Head Girl, I need to enforce these rules.”
“So I’m disrupting a positive learning environment. I see, my body prevents people from paying attention to their studies?” Pansy placed her hands on her hips.
“When you show it off like that, yes,” she meant to scold her, but her words came out in a jumble of breath. Pansy smiled and stepped forward, eyes locking on Hermione’s, “Am I distracting you?”

this is near impossible.
it’s hard to think about it. the idea of summarizing everything about herself within the confines of a couple hundred pages. how exactly is it meant to be done? where is she meant to start, and how is she supposed to end it? she guesses it kind of plays out like a story, how her life has traversed so far. but she’s staring at this journal before her, completely blanking, unsure of what she’s even supposed to write down and why she’s even doing it in the first place.
