Finnick was looking at his hands, it was the only in between he could find. Since he had now remembered what being embarrassed felt like, he couldn't stand to look at her. But looking straight down reminded him that he was naked. His hands didn't make him think of anything. So they were safe. “I’m sorry,” he said again, trying to remember the minutes leading up to his break. Trying to figure out what made him shift. “I don't know what happened.”

Finnick shook his head, “Don’t say that.” He turned around, and headed back upstairs to his room. Mags wondered for a moment if she could bribe him to eat with some coffee. They let him have it on his victory tour, and he had been begging for some ever since.

It took a moment before Finnick was yelling too. He thrashed in the hands that held him. “Don't touch me!” he yelled, still choking on his tears. He’d never dare to say something so harsh to someone who'd bought him. If he even looked like he wanted to say no, Snow would find someone he loved to kill.
Finnick wasn’t with Snow anymore, he was with Coin, and two of her soldiers were trying to keep him still.
With a quick needle in his leg, the nurse he had recognized earlier knocked him out.
Finnick was sent back to the hospital wing.

She laughed, hoping he was in a good mood- good enough at least. “Trouble walking?” she called, now that he was in earshot. Finnick didn't even look up at her, all his attention on the floor. Well, that made her feel horrible. Her smile fell and she felt stupid for standing there.

Summary
Jason Todd is seriously injured during patrol one night, and is forced to stay at the manor to recuperate until his injuries are healed. To pass the time, he makes a list of things he never got to do before he died.
Except there's one small problem: most of them involve Bruce, and Jason doesn't really think Bruce cares all that much about him anymore.This is a story about how wrong he is, but I made it sad anyway.

Bruce smirks a little, “Pretty old.”
“How old am I?” Dick rephrases the question. Realistically, given the lines on Bruce's face and the grey in his hair, he has to be more than a decade or two in the future. But, well, Dick's still reeling from being twelve. He can't begin to imagine a world where there's anything past tomorrow.
Bruce's smirk sinks a little, but not quite to a frown. It's a distant smile, fighting through the shadows of whatever it is Bruce sees when he looks down at him. In a quiet, mournful tone, he says, “Not that old. Not old at all.”

“I'm not afraid of falling, Bruce,” Dick says casually when the man's silence is an answer enough, pulling himself up to sit on the pole again, eyes a bright and relentless blue. The boy frowns, “My parents weren't afraid of falling either.”
Bruce feels his heart lurch in his chest. The ground seems very, very far away, “Dick."
“Bruce,” Dick replies easily, smiling something sad and faint, “Don't be scared. Falling is half the fun.”
(Bruce teaches Robin how to use a grapple, and Dick teaches Batman how to fly.)

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)
