    Izuku knew one thing as Aizawa passed out the internship offers to each of them, that he wanted to be as far away from Kacchan as possible, as far as he could get. The farthest place he could get was Fukuoka City, approximately over twelve hours away by car, his only hope was that an internship from the hero that resided there was offered. The hero’s agency was located in Kyushu, the quickest way to get there was to catch a flight from Shizuoka to Fukuoka and catch the train from Fukuoka to Kyushu.

    A smile lights his features when he finds it, when the internship offer form is presented, twenty-five pages in, and he pulls it to the front. Filling out his information, without a second thought, he doesn’t need to look through the rest of them.

    Sure, interning with a man who spent ninety-five percent of his work in the air was going to be a setback, but the distance he wanted was worth it. He’d make it work.

    When a simple C-rank mission turns into a straight-up nightmare, the members of Team Seven narrowly escape with their lives. They end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, each of them injured and forced to rely on one another for help.

    They’ve only been a team for a couple of weeks, still distant from one another, still trying hard to prove themselves. But when they’re all hurt and struggling desperately to survive, they have no choice but to lower their walls.

    Stranded far away from the village, Team Seven fights to get back home safely – but with help impossibly far away, with their food supplies shrinking and with their injuries slowing them down, their journey becomes more difficult with every step.

    In the wake of their struggle, though, their bonds grow steadily stronger.

    Shame.
    What an inconsequential word. It rolled off the tongue with little effort. Izuku had heard all possible thoughts involving shame, but he'd never felt shame. He's never been ashamed of himself. Izuku had never once bothered to let a silly thing like shame sink into his bones. He couldn't afford it. Survival was paramount, and sometimes, one had to do many shameful things to get by when life only handed you heartache and hatred.
    There was no time to worry about the shame of all he'd had to do just to get through another day,
    even if Izuku knew in the depths of his aching chest,
    he was lying to himself.

    OR: Izuku is saved from the roof by Overhaul, instead of meeting All Might after the Sludge Villain incident. His life takes a very different turn.

    The only difference this year, students were able to choose their teams instead of being randomly and evenly selected.

    With Bakugou leading the Hero team and Midoriya leading the Villain team, it is only time before everyone understands who truly is the strongest of them all.

    After all, when challenged, Izuku Midoriya never fails.
