A silent agreement to part ways is heeded upon after a short pause. Amane is a few turns short of twisting his doorknob open when Nene calls to him in a tone that’s still mustering up the courage to stand on two feet. Decisive yet tentative, and perhaps mixed in with a vestige of lost youth.

“Just…call me Yashiro, like you used to.”
Just like the stars that realign every now and then, the paths of estranged high school friends Amane and Nene intertwine once more as neighbors, to which - hopefully - evolves more than just that.

Summary
Nene had never been the type to give up (no one would’ve blamed her if she did) and sought out to make the most out of every little thing: savoring every delicious bite of her breakfast, a sense of fulfilment in every book she’s finished, in every genuine laugh that a hilarious show on television had elicited from her, and a lot more she looks forward to each day. Out of all these, perhaps her favorite little thing to do was to see the moon: because that’s when the world falls to a standstill, letting soft whispers drift into the wind as the darkness envelops the sky, making way for the stars to take their place beside the celestial majestic body of the night--well, simply put, because it’s also his favorite.
A girl on the brink of death encounters a ghost one day, and has never left her side ever since. Although he was strange and a tease, she never wondered why he was there.
