Summary
The words are stolen from Feliciano’s lips in a terrific rush of joy, his mouth dropping and tears welling up in his eyes as he comes face to face with the brother he’s spent the past four years of his life searching for. There aren’t words in any language he knows that truly express how thankful he is to see him, knowing that all of his effort wasn’t in vain because Lovino is here and he’s alive--!
Lovino, however, doesn’t seem to share the sentiment.
After being rescued from a crew of corsairs, Feliciano is shocked to discover his missing brother is a member of infamous pirate Captain Fernández's crew -- and while they promise to take him back home to his grandfather, he has a lot of things to learn about Lovino before he makes it back to Genoa.

Summary
The questions he’s avoided for years have suddenly been thrust on his shoulders in a dizzying and uncomfortable rush, complicated feelings having dragged him into a spiral of existential dread and confusion that he can barely parse through. Romano is desperate for answers and he has no idea who can give them to him.
If he can’t turn to his brother… then there’s only one other nation he can go to that could possibly understand what he’s feeling.
Spain.

Summary
“Please, call me Antonio,” he requests, and then he laughs quietly. “Oh, and Lovino?"
“What?” Lovino snaps, a little sharper than he wants when his brain finally catches up to his embarrassment and he realizes he’s acting like a love-sick child. He finds he still can’t keep up when Antonio’s smile changes into something different: not the friendliness it was earlier nor the comforting warmth it was moments ago.
This one is affectionate.
“I would prefer seeing your smile over Feliciano’s any day.”

Genji rolls his eyes again. “I’m not asking Angela or Zenyatta to help me with this. Angela would rip me to pieces for even considering it, and Zenyatta hates lying to people. Besides, I’m sure my father wouldn’t care what my partner did as long as I was happy.” He folds his hands together and bows his head. “So please: Jesse McCree, be my fake boyfriend long enough so I don’t have to get married. My social life is on the line.”

Summary
Hajime frowns when those lips he’s been staring at press together to hold back a growing smile, followed by upper teeth digging down gently into the plush flesh of Tooru’s bottom lip. “You’re annoying,” he croaks, swiping his tongue across his own lips, his fist clenching in his lap, “because you’re too fucking attractive for your own good and it’s taking every ounce of my self control not to forget about the goddamn summer work we have and kiss you senseless.”

Summary
“Shut up,” he murmurs.
“Make me,” Oikawa taunts, luring Hajime into giving in to that urge he’s trying to fight against when his lips hover infuriatingly close over Hajime’s temple but refuse to fall against it, and Hajime can feel his resolve hesitate for a moment before it crumbles. He grins, against his better judgement, as Tooru’s hands inch away from the ball and slowly envelop his own, knowing that in this battle he was doomed from the start.
He’d always choose Tooru, over and over and over again.

Summary
The statement is only three words, but a part of Tooru already feels like that’s three words too many. The part of him that doesn’t want to rely on others: the one that Tooru has spent so many years trying to fight against and overcome. For a while, he was winning, but tonight the battle was too much by himself.
He needed someone else.
The reply is instantaneous.

Summary
Oikawa pulls the cup to his lips and blows at the steam, watching it curl around his nose and face as he laughs softly. “Mattsun’s realized he’s in love with Makki. Finally.”
Iwaizumi hums knowingly, taking his own mug in his hands. “About time,” he says easily, and Matsukawa groans.
“I really don’t want to hear that from you. Either of you.”

Summary
Before he can even try the handle, Oikawa’s voice snaps a hard, “Go away” and Iwaizumi pulls his eyebrows together, frowning. Tooru’s voice was frustrated, angry, and even a little bit scared, which was a dangerous mix, and it instantly plants a seed of worry in Iwaizumi’s gut. Ignoring his best friend’s harsh words, he tries the door anyway, only to find it locked. His frown deepens.
“Unlock the door, Oikawa.”

Summary
This stranger gets tired of watching Hayato search for words and clicks his tongue. “Do you know what fucking time it is?” he asks, his voice lowered from the volume that it had been earlier, but still considerably loud for a normal person. This snaps the redhead from whatever verbal limbo he was stuck in, and he flashes a smile as he pulls his power bar from his lips.
“I could ask you the same thing, actually. People aren’t usually shouting at three in the morning,” he says cheekily, and the stranger raises a thin eyebrow, those steely eyes narrowing.

“What… what if it doesn’t like me?”
Oikawa scoffs. “She,” he corrects, “is only a baby, Iwa-chan. There’s no way she won’t like you.”

Summary
Hajime sighs, leaning against the stove as he turns to face Tooru, who’s still peeking up at him from under his arm. He purses his lips and ignores the heat in his cheeks as he rolls a stiff shoulder.
“What?”
Tooru hides his face when he realizes he’s been caught, laughing a little bit to cover up his embarrassment. “I’m happy, Iwa-chan,” he says cheerfully.

Summary
"What's wrong?" he murmurs, and Tooru jerks a little when he's startled by the sudden break of silence, but he still doesn't answer right away. The hand that he has rested by his head twitches gently before it curls into Hajime's shirt.
"Can I ask you a question, Iwa-chan?" he whispers almost silently into his partner's chest. "About me?"
Hajime is slow to reply, this behavior is so unlike the taller boy that its startling, but he reaches up to run a hand through Tooru's soft hair anyway. "You’re an idiot if you think I’ll say no to you.”

Summary
"Shut up, idiot, that's not what I meant," he growls, releasing Tooru from his hold as he pads to the center of the room."This is the only room in the place that we won't have to stare at the sky." He lets out a long breath he didn't know he was holding when he takes a seat on the end of the bed, lacing his fingers together as he deflates. His voice turns bitter. "I can't stand looking at that sky."
Tooru is quiet, taking in Hajime's worn down appearence, and stands for another moment in the door frame before he lightly steps over a few pieces of clothing laying on the floor and takes a seat next to his dark haired friend on the mattress.
"I know," he says quietly, folding his hands in his lap. "Neither can I."

Summary
He had to keep himself together, he reminded himself. Don’t get so freaked out over some boy you have a crush on.
("But he’s not just 'some boy'. It’s Koutarou, and I love him," his mind would reply. Sometimes Akaashi wouldn’t be able to find a response to that and just left the conversation hanging like that.)
God, he was so stupid.
