Gregory never would have expected this hiding place to turn against him. Trapped within this homicidal children's attraction, he must choose his fate, now in the hands of Freddy and his own survival skills.
If he can escape, what else awaits him in this new dark environment?
(This is basically a rewrite of Sister Location, with strong elements of Security Breach and Count the Ways mixed in. This fic also became the introduction to its own big AU/series.)

Jeremy’s lips brush his cheek, and his husky voice can be heard next to Michael’s ear. “Thanks for spending time with me,” he gives Michael a squeeze around his waist before letting go, “it means a lot.”
“Of course,” Michael breathed, sucking in a deep breath. With his nose right next to Jeremy’s neck, he could smell the cologne he’d applied at some point, rich and slightly intoxicating. Michael let him pull back and they stood there for a moment, soaking in the other’s presence.
Michael wanted to kiss him. He doesn’t think he’s ever wanted to kiss anybody this badly.

It unlocks. Just like that. All the pieces fall into place. Oh, no. She really, really wishes this was hell. There’s no way she got sent back in time. No. That’s not possible.
Who is she kidding. She was an undead animatronic, who scooped out her brother’s insides to pilot him like some sort of skin suit, an experience which he survived, before having her spirit released by him and the old business partner of her father (also an undead animatronic, but only kind of) through them setting a pizzeria on fire.
So anything is possible, really. She was sent back in time. Her. Of all people (is she even a person, at this point?).
Fun. Truly. She feels sick again.
(Or, Elizabeth Afton may not be the hero anyone would've asked for, but if she wants all this to end, she's going to have to step up and be the one they need. She can do that. She can save everyone. Right?)

He wipes his hands on his jeans, letting out a huff of rancid air. It certainly did stink back there, more than the other parts of the building—almost like the source of its vile odor was trapped behind this door. Definitely didn’t make him rush to throw down the rest of the boards. Another plank is pried off and tossed across the room, rusted nails all but cracking apart on impact.
That was when he heard it. A rustling. Quiet and brief; like something shifted an inch or so before going rigid again. He almost didn’t believe his ears. Pausing entirely, holding his breath (his nose thanked him) and straining to hear it again. But there was nothing.
He scolds himself for being ridiculous. This place, in the state it was in, could harbor a million different small critters like rats, or chipmunks, squirrels…rabbits.
