They are sitting on their heels facing each other on the bed. Emotions are free to be observed by each other, and Alhaitham is as always calm and collected. But there's a slight quirk at the corners of his lips that has never failed to slow Dottore's breath. The glimmers of fondness in Alhaitham's eyes are polluting Dottore's mind with too much hope, so Dottore resolutely looks past Alhaitham without averting his eyes.
Alhaitham lets out an amused exhale and tilts his head, the hair ornaments his roommate must have forced him to wear make a crisp sound, "Zandik… Doctor, my mate," Alhaitham notices with amusement how Dottore's wings are flapping excitedly behind him, "will you accept it if I said my reason was because I am as attached to you as you are to me?"
Dottore freezes. Then his wings are spread in happiness. He grabs Alhaitham's shoulders and pulls him into an embrace before falling backwards to the bed.

Childe is found floating in the Qiongji estuary. Alive, mind you, but barely.
Zhongli is overjoyed to finally have his husband back, and brings him back to health.
All of this is a bit confusing to Ajax, who doesn’t remember the (admittedly beautiful) man caring for him.
(Aka the Archon quest hurt me, and I just want to see Childe being cared for. Also slightly inspired by me being sick at the moment)

Summary
Childe's life post the Osial incident has settled into something of normalcy. He has a comfortable (if not a bit boring) 9-5 job at the bank, he has loads of free time to waste, and he gets to experience whatever Liyue has to offer, at his own pace, frequently accompanied by Zhongli.
However, this idyllic picture is shattered the day Childe receives a letter from the Tsaritsa, summoning him back to Snezhnaya, immediately.
He is crushed by the news. He has expected it – it was bound to happen, eventually, but the message still daunts him. How is he supposed to say goodbye to Liyue so suddenly? How is he going to say goodbye to Zhongli, the only person he can call a friend?
To his surprise, the god offers to travel with him, and so they set on a journey to the northern lands of everwinter. They just forget about one important thing – reptiles don’t do well in freezing cold.
Which is why Childe now has to deal with his own grumpy Archon, the constant scheming and bickering of the other Harbingers, and a very sleepy and very clingy dragon.

Summary
The afterlife was boring. Especially for Indarias and Bosacius. There was pretty much nothing to do but walk around, interact with others, and (of course) watch those you left behind. For the yakshas who were used to battle and constantly being on the move, nothing could be any worse. Maybe that was why Bosacius and Indarias acted out so much.
Bonanus knew the older ones were getting upset with them. Then Greater Lord Rukkhadevata had an offer. The yakshas would get their deepest wish to be reunited with their smallest brother. The older ones would get some peace and quiet. It seemed like the perfect plan.
Only, there was a catch.
They all were kids now. Kids and with Morax as a caregiver. That was a disaster waiting to happen. The last Bonanus knew Morax was not good with kids.
The yakshas accepted and now chaos was brewing.
This is the result of the Yakshas' Choice.

Kamui says, with a closed-eye smile, "Lady, why don't you show me your fangs?" which is Childe's cue to slide swiftly in.
"No fangs at the dinner table!" he says.
"What about flowers?" says Pirako.
Perhaps flowers would have been welcome were she inclined towards the same sorts of flowers everyone else is, or even the kinds of flowers Mr. Zhongli is inclined towards, but Childe now knows what she means by flowers, and those kinds, unfortunately, must be left in their fields. "They will have to wait till later too," he says. Her winsome shine does not melt.
"Okay, big bro!"
Childe, however, does.
[Three peas in a pod, or three oranges on the same tree. Alternatively: Childe trots back into the harbour with two very orange, bloodthirsty children who look frighteningly like him, and Zhongli wonders if he has become a step-father. This would have been the case were he married in the first place.]

It hurts when you realise you weren‘t as important to someone as you thought you were.
Of this, Tartaglia was well aware. He’d known since he’d joined the Fatui, a lesson forced down his throat over and over again; nothing hurts like betrayal.
And it wasn‘t like he thought Liyue would be any different. He was wary of the calm-natured Funeral Parlor consultant, dressed in earthy golds and browns, holding himself so proudly and yet with a regal air about him.
It was clear that this „Zhongli“ was not a regular cultural advisor, but he was also personally assigned to the job by Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa herself, so that was probably to be expected.
And Childe hoped, even though he knew he shouldn‘t, even though he was well-acquainted with the sting of betrayal, that maybe, just maybe, they were something like … friends?
Well, obviously they weren‘t. That childish thought was just wishful thinking. Tartaglia should‘ve known better. He did know better.
Or -
Childe is more hurt by the outcome of his mission in Liyue than he had any right being, and Zhongli is willing to do anything to fix their breaking relationship. If only he knew how …

The low light of the bedside lamp danced across Cyno’s grin. It was a rare, smug one that few were graced with. Alhaitham received it whenever Cyno caught him off guard.
“Well, we’re not exactly the romantic type.” '
Cyno and Alhaitham get married. They're happy and there's really nothing more to say there. But maybe they should say a little more, because they don't exactly TELL anyone about it.
