Donghyuck stares, unblinking and unbreathing. The entire cafeteria quiets down. It is like everyone around him is holding their breath, waiting for the I love you too, for the kiss under the rain, for the happily ever after.

Mark is kneeling between Donghyuck’s parted thighs, nosing at the bulge in his skin-tight jeans. The zipper creak-creak-creaks as Mark tugs it down with terribly slow fingers.
Donghyuck’s heart is thrumming so far up his throat he can feel it between his clamped teeth. Warm sweat pools on the small of his back and between his arms, a nervous sign that he probably shouldn't be allowing Mark to do this. Not here, at least—all out in the open and lit harsh-white by the LED lights of the outdoor basketball court.
It’s stupid, the way Donghyuck got himself into this situation. It’s so very stupid.
