Summary
Johnny "Soap" MacTavish has been medically discharged following a mission gone wrong, which left him with severe agoraphobia and PTSD.
At the suggestion of his therapist, he joins a programme which connects both active service members and veterans through the act of writing letters.
Although things get off to a bad start, the connection he forms with his letter mate slowly becomes unbreakable. That is until he gets too close and strikes a nerve.

“Why stay on the floor?” Soap says. “There’s a perfectly good bed over there.”
“For sleepin’?” Ghost asks nonchalantly, but Soap catches the slight twitch in his hands and a barely perceptible flutter in his breath.
“Aye, Lt. What else?” Soap says, finally letting his lips curl into a smile. Ghost hums in reply, abruptly standing up with a fluid motion. Quick, smooth, and precise, like a prowling tiger springing into action.
“Well?” Ghost says, now towering over Soap who is still on all fours. “You comin’ then?”Or: Ghost and Soap get stuck in a snowstorm and there is only one bed
