After Vox tried to take over Heaven and use Lucifer to do so, and though he failed, he didn’t die and so now it was agreed upon by both Heaven and Hell that the punishment will be handled by Hell.
So Lucifer calls together his court so they can pass judgment on all the major demons that were involved the plot to take over Heaven.

And that meant drawing the attention of Robert "Robbie" Robertson II, the second iteration of Mecha Man - by any means necessary.
But the more involved Elliot gets with Robbie and the Brave Brigade, the more he sees that just because you're a "hero" doesn't mean you're a good person. And, well, if that's the case... why can't the opposite be true?
Elliot's ultimate goal is to save people. If a couple eggs have to be cracked to make an omelet, well... their sacrifices will be remembered in the upcoming utopia.
