Summary
He lays stiff with deep breaths as Izuku creeps through his room. The drawer to his desk slides open almost soundlessly. Tight knit strands of inky black reflect the moonlight that streams in through the open balcony door. The tendrils creep over his desk, the floor, his nightstand, while Izuku quietly searches through his drawers.
An inky strand slithers closer to the corner of his bedside table, over the alarm clock, so Katsuki grabs it.
"AH-" Izuku full body shivers, spinning around as he's caught red fucking handed. "K-Kacchan, this is just a dream. Lay back down." He whispers, like that'd ever work.
"What the fuck are you doin'? It's two in the goddamn morning! Get the hell out of my room, you abstract painted piece of shit." He seethes back, yanking on the coil of black whip tight between his fingers.
"Sshhhhhh-" Izuku whisper yells right back. He turns to shut the desk drawer, moving over to Katsuki's dresser. "Don't yell, I'm just looking for your wallet."
"My wallet." Katsuki sighs, letting go of the static laced web in his hands. It slides right back to Izuku's wrist. "Why - on the Devil's biggest of dicks - do you need my wallet?"

“Even without Gearshift’s help,” continues Kacchan. “Even if you used Gearshift.”
His eyelashes cast a barely-there shadow as he spreads Izuku’s hand over his cheek, and then parts his lips just barely around the pad of Izuku’s thumb when it swipes against them again in its uncoordinated pliability. Kacchan’s fingers fit around the back of Izuku’s hand to hold it there, and he kisses his thumbpad again.
And again. Izuku can feel his own heartbeat in his ears.
“Ain’t gonna say nothin’ to that?”
"U-uh," stutters Izuku.

"Idiots. It's called a targeted workout." Bakugou shoves the wide collar of his tank down so he can grip one of his pecs in his hand demonstratively, sinking his fingers into it. "The best kind've muscle's powerful and pliable," he finishes with a smirk.
"Pliable," Deku echoes faintly, before he blinks and comes back to himself. "Right. So it's a meme about how your, um, your chest is really… pliable. Sizable and, and... pliable."

In the aftermath of the League of Villain’s kidnapping, Katsuki’s pretty sure he’s going insane.
This…thing keeps happening to him, where when he gets too overwhelmed he feels younger, like he’s mentally reverting back almost a decade, sometimes even more. Katsuki has no idea what’s happening to him or why he can’t just get over this and move past it. All he knows is that he cannot afford anyone finding out about it, no matter what.
Surprise, surprise, next thing he knows he’s crying into Deku’s shoulder (Deku, of all people!) while Deku calls his mom in the middle of the night to let her know she needs to come and get him.

He wonders if they would have been friends then, being as different as night and day. Yoichi doesn’t like violence, he was against the idea of training his quirk at first, but Kudo managed to convince him, saying it was for his own good.
“I want you to live long…” he says in a soft voice, so quietly it can go unnoticed.
But Kudo manages to pick it up.
He chuckles mirthlessly, that laugh of his that’s barely there.
“Maybe in another life,” he answers.
