There was a desk, a closet, a bed, a boy, all neat and tidy and tucked away - Jason swiveled. That. That was. There was a boy on the bed. Laptop on his knees, camera on the bedspread beside him, staring as Jason curiously with wide blue eyes.
“Hello,” The boy said politely, and blinked at him, looking disturbingly like an owl.
The kid looked - he looked about ten, and that was his reaction to having a stranger break into his room in the middle of the night?
“You - ah,” Jason stalled, staring at him, a bit stupefied. “What are you doing here?”
