Wei WuXian hovered there for a second, just breathing in Lan WangJi’s scent and making sure there was no rejection. To assure himself, he said almost too quietly the man’s name, almost against his lips. “Lan Zhan…”
Lan WangJi nodded in response, and Wei WuXian, just as he leaned in to finally touch their lips, noticed that Lan WangJi had been waiting with his eyes closed since they held hands.
