And, while Trina may not have wanted her ex-husband's ex-lover at Jason's baseball game — Whizzer is the last person Marvin ever wanted to see again. The feeling is mutual. But at the same time — seeing Marvin again brings up so many old feelings. But missing and getting back together are two very different things and it's going to take more than a bit of sniping to rekindle that flame.

For a moment, Leo's eyes narrowed at him, as if studying his face for any sign of deception or dishonesty. And while yes, Vincent had deftly fed Leo lies after lies, this was one thing he was being completely honest about. He meant it. With all his heart, Vincent meant it.
"Then you better keep me around," Leo finally answered, letting his face relax back into a calm expression.

What good is revenge if you can't stop and play some games along the way?
Every time Leo gets that competitive glint in his eyes, Vincent rolls is own and tells him they just don’t have time. But somehow, he always ends up playing them anyways.
It's not that Leo always ends up beating him. Definitely not that. They just have more important things to worry about, Like the ever present threat of the cops constant pursuit, or more hit men curtesy of that bastard Harvey.
But every time Leo gets that cocky swagger when Vincent tells him no, that familiar chill of his competitive nature comes slinking back up his spine and he ends up caving.
Gary used to be the only one to bring it out in him. At least with his dearly departed brother he at least won SOME of the time.

The summer after Will Graham is imprisoned, Jack Crawford gets called onto a possible serial killer case in Michigan and takes Brian and Jimmy along. The case is gruelling. The associations are worse. And to top off an already wonderfully complicated situation, the local Cherry Festival has ensured all hotels are fully booked, which means Brian and Jimmy have no choice but to share a room. Shenanigans, with a healthy dose of dead homeless people.

Heat blossomed in my stomach, the sensation perfectly in harmony with my feelings in that moment: warm, bright, hovering indecisively between calm contentment and a headier, more restless euphoria. My eyes traveled from the day’s paper to the man who sat beside me, reading and re-reading a letter, unaware that his presence was the source of my continued and consuming joy.
Watson feels deeply for Holmes, but what it is he feels is less than clear.
