Modern AU where Vex and Vax stayed with their dad and are both successful young equestrians on the pre-professional junior hunter-jumper track. Their dad still sucks but bankrolls their horses and they make him look good so their pretty chill with each other. Keyleth is a country kid who can ride crazy well so gets invited to work for the barn the twins (and the rest of the gang) ride at. Vex is a massive lesbian and falls for her because of course she does.
It's my first fic on ao3 so whatever your expectations are just take them and lower them a bit.
