Summary
“You know,” Maya says as they’re gathering spare blankets and pillows from a cabinet, “This will be my first real sleepover ever.”
Her words catch Franziska off-guard, like they always seem to. “What do you mean?”
“Well, growing up in the village, I never really got to do the teenage sleepover thing, y’know? So now’s the chance!”
Franziska raises an eyebrow. “...Maya Fey, the two of us are nearly thirty.”
“Still! This is probably the closest I’ve gotten. Where you hang out with your gal-pals in your friend’s living room and do stuff together in your pajamas- except we’re going over murder case details instead of watching movies or doing manicures. Ooh, maybe we should pester Edgeworth for some face masks...”At the behest of Miles Edgeworth, Franziska von Karma returns to Los Angeles to investigate a case: the Head of Operations at multinational tech corporation Stargram is found beaten to death in her office. She's more than up to the challenge- even if it means working with foolish fool Maya Fey- but the more they uncover, the more ludicrous things become. When the world seems hellbent on making reality a circus, can Franziska keep her perfect cool- or is she, too, destined to become stupid?

Summary
Sumia became a Pegasus Knight for one reason and one reason only: for love.
It’s true that it had been expected of her from the get-go: her mother had been a Pegasus Knight, as had her mother’s mother, so it only seemed natural for Sumia to fly, too- and she had a deep affinity for the pegasi themselves, of course. But the moment that Sumia had first flown, she’d fallen in love, and nothing else mattered but that. On the ground, she was clumsy and absentminded and cowardly, but in the sky she could be graceful and brave, freed from the weight of her cumbersome self and set adrift in the endless expanse of sky, held only by the beating wings of the strong creature under her, bonded so tightly to it in spirit that its body would respond like her own. Sumia could leave all the worst parts of her behind when she took off into the skies- she was in pursuit of a love that could not stumble nor falter nor drift off; so neither would she. Becoming a Pegasus Knight was the only natural conclusion, a total fulfillment of her love for the sky.Cordelia had become a Pegasus Knight for love, too, but it wasn’t quite the same.
