"Natsu!" Lucy cheered from behind him. She stumbled clumsily from the crowd as he whirled around to face her.
Natsu chewed the fire in his mouth, glaring suspiciously at her. He carefully pulled his flaming chicken leg away from her as she came to a stuttering stop in front of him, tugging at his sleeve excitedly. Her breath smelled like alcohol. He should have known he couldn't trust his partner with Cana.
Lucy held up a cheap plastic ring, a flirty smile painted on her face. "Marry me."
Natsu couldn't help but roll his eyes. Swallowing roughly, he said, "Lucy, you never remember."

That her laugh is the sound of pure joy, something that makes him feel warmed to his very bones in a way his fire could never replicate. That her eyes are the most perfect shade of brown, her skin the most supple and soft out of everything he's ever touched. And that her smile brightens up a room with a type of light that, if bottled, could cure any illness.
He’s noticed that he wants all of that perfect Lucyness to only be his. He wants to steal her away and keep her hidden in his horde at home. Only his eyes would get to gaze at the beauty that is his celestial mage.
