Summary
Tom Riddle had done a lot of things in his life. He'd tortured wizards and muggles, murdered families, and wiped out bloodlines, but it isn't until he's standing in front of that crib facing zero resistance that he realizes he's never killed a baby. He's not even sure if he's killed a kid. He tortured some of the others at the orphanage when he was a child, sure, and had definitely killed a teenagers or two, but this was new. Everybody has a line. Lord Voldemort wonders if he's found his.
OR Lord Voldemort has never killed a baby before and has trouble pulling the trigger, ultimately leading to his AK backfiring. One Shot, Peter Pettigrew also loosely involved.
